We gather together to worship on the second and fourth Sunday of each month, with a community potluck brunch on the third Sunday of each month. These events all take place at the Chilliwack Cultural Centre at 9201 Corbould St. Our brunches include conversation, yummy food, and a short segment called “3 Questions”, where we hear from one of our community members. On the first (and fifth) Sunday of each month, we encourage everyone to engage meaningfully in service to their family and our greater community.

What you can expect
When visiting a Sanctuary Church service, you will notice signs leading you to our gathering space. You will be greeted with a warm cup of coffee and welcoming conversation, followed by worship, a message, communion, and prayer. We make time for conversation starting at 10, while our service program begins at 10:15 and typically finishes by 11:30.
Starting September 2025, we offer childcare for children ages 1-6 with our dedicated professional caregiver, Faith Thomas. Our KidCare space is designed for young children (with its own kid sized bathroom!) located beside our church meeting space. There is also an outdoor playground area for supervised play. There are Bible activities and music as well as playtime and snacks.

Meet Faith Thomas, our KidCare supervisor. Faith holds a BA in Elementary education and currently works with special needs students. Faith will be providing supervision and activities for your children, with help from church member volunteers as needed. We are so happy to have her on our team.
KidCare
Starting September 2025, we will have a learning opportunity for your kids ages 12 and up, where they can engage with certified teacher and former pastor Dave Shinness in a guided question and answer format around a table (there may even be a sweet treat). Dave has held Student Round tables in other settings, including one for missionary kids in China. He finds that kids flourish when they can discuss questions and answers from personal experience and from the Bible.
